U.S.—A new dual climate control system rolling out in the U.S. automotive industry is targeted at married couples who can never agree on a temperature for the car's A/C and heating systems. While dual climate control has been around for some time, the new system lets wives select "Face-Melting Flames" as the warmest available temperature, while husbands can turn the dial to "Freezing Snow Flurry."
"Finally -- a temperature that works for me," said one wife as she turned the dial past "Depths of Sheol" all the way to "Face-Melting Flames." She sat there smiling contentedly as the dashboard melted and the upholstery burst into flames. Her husband was also able to find a comfortable temperature as he cranked his dial to past "Ice Age" all the way to "Heat Death of the Universe."
It is estimated that his new feature has saved 12.5 million marriages in just the first year of implementation.
Automobile manufacturers are thrilled by the positive response to the new technology and are hard at work designing further design improvements for couples such as technology that decides where to eat for you and a mute button for the kids.
